A Scary Scam For Your Cell Phone

Got this from the Grays, via William Earl Evans:

SCARY. WHAT WILL CRIME THINK OF NEXT. WE HAVE TO ALWAYS BE ONE STEP
AHEAD. EXHAUSTING, ISN'T IT.

I never thought of this..

This lady has changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile
phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her
cellphone, credit card, wallet... etc... was stolen.
20 minutes later when she called her hubby, from a payphone telling him what had happened, hubby says "I received your text asking about our PIN number and I've replied a little while ago."

When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text "hubby" in the contact list and got hold of the pin number.

Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank account.

Moral of the lesson: Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc... And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back. Also, when you're being text by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet "family and friends" who text you.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON

I never thought about THAT! As of right now, I no longer have "home" named on my cell phone.

To All The Wonderful Women That Bless Your Day!

GOT THIS FROM LINDA WADE:

Your sisters, your mother, your daughters, the ladies you work with everyday, even your online female friends.

And send this to all the men in your life, that they can realize the gift God has given them.

Dear My Child,

When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being.

When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils.

But you, woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too delicate.

I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you.

Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity.

From one bone, I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects man's life.

I chose the rib, which protects his heart and lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do. Around this one bone, I shaped you....

I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully.

Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile.

You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man , his heart.

His heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life.

The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will allow damage to the heart. Support man as the rib cage supports the body.

You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him.

You were taken from his side, to stand beside him and be held close to his side.

You are my perfect angel.....You are my beautiful little girl.

You will or have grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and my eyes fill when I see the virtues in your heart.

Your eyes......don't change them.

Your lips….how lovely when they part in prayer.

Your nose…so perfect in form.

Your hands…..so gentle to touch

I've caressed your face in your deepest sleep.

I've held your heart close to mine.. of all that lives and breathes, you are most like me.

Adam walked with me in the cool of the day, yet he was lonely. He could not see me or touch me.

He could only feel me. So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with me,
I fashioned in you my holiness, my strength, my purity, my love, my protection and support.

You are special because you are an extension of me. Man represents my image, woman my emotions.

Together, you represent the totality of (me) God.

Love,

God

Jury Duty Scam!

NOTE: I HAVE ALSO DONE STORIES ON THIS SCAM FOR MY TV STATION. IT IS DEFINITELY A SCAM TO BE AVOIDED, BY NOT GIVING OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION..
CALVIN

This has been verified by the FBI (their link is also included below). Please pass this on to everyone in your email address book. It is spreading fast so be prepared should you get this call. Most of us take those summonses for jury duty seriously, but enough people skip out on their civic duty, that a new and ominous kind of fraud has surfaced.

The caller claims to be a jury coordinator. If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Give out any of this information and bingo; your identity was just stolen.

The fraud has been reported so far in 11 states, including Oklahoma , Illinois , and Colorado . This (swindle) is particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully people into giving information by pretending they are with the court system. The FBI and the federal court system have issued nationwide alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud.
